Challenge and Prospect of Human Capital
Development toward 2020
Seminar to Celebrate the Establishment of the
Department of Human Capital Development, Graduate
School of Management, Faculty of Economics, University
of Indonesia.
Thursday, March 1, 2012

Prologue:
By keeping this mind, we would like to go beyond the
paradigm of Human Resource Management and/or Human
Assets Management. We do not approach people as a
resource or assets.

Why Human Capital?
First, people are not assets, because it represents properties
owned by the business. However the owners of the business
cannot totally control people and their attitude, mind and
behaviour. Whatever regulation we may implement, there is
always a chance for people to break or violate. People are not
also resources, because it may connote that the business use
its resources up to their limit and less consideration to the
welfare of  the people.

Workshop/In-House Training on Human Social
Latar Belakang

memperoleh keuntungan. .....................
